Two Volkl players have advanced to at least the quarterfinals of The San Diego Open, which started amid the pandemic as part of the Asia swing.

Miguel Reyes-Varela and doubles partner Barrientos survived a nail-biter of a match, defeating wildcards Verbeek and Smith 10-7 in the third set breaker before succumbing in the next round.

Hunter Reese, who's currently wearing the latest Volkl Tennis clothing line since the US Open (pictured here on-court in Flushing Meadows), teamed up with Huesler to beat Eysseric and Sitak in two tight sets; they are currently taking on fellow Americans Lammons and Withrow for a spot in the semi-final. Currently based at the Barnes Tennis Center in California, the ATP 250 event currently has a grand purse of $660,000 in prize money. Follow the results live online at atptour.com.
