In tennis, 35 in tennis is the new 25! Congrats and wishing Mexican tennis star Miguel Reyes-Varela a very happy belated birthday! Miguel, who says he's proud to continue representing his home country at a Grand Slam, is currently the 69th ranked doubles player on the ATP tour.

“Qualifying for another Wimbledon this year is a special, special feeling,” says Reyes-Varela, who is playing with the V-Cell 8 315g alongside his usual doubles partner from Colombia, Nicolas Barrientos. “We’re just soaking it all in and enjoying the moment!”

While Miguel only found out of his acceptance into the tournament when the actual draws were released, his ranking should climb and possibly exceed his career-high of 49 in no time as he competes in his third-ever Wimbledon Championships starting this week!

"We're all here together and rooting for each other; we're going to support Fernanda Contreras Gomez in her singles first round!" says Reyes-Varela of cheering on his fellow Mexican tennis players, with the highest number representing his home country in almost 50 years. "We're going to root for each other and live this experience together! It definitely makes it even more special, and the vibe here is wonderful!”

Best of luck to Miguel and all of our players in the draws at this year’s All England Club across the pond, including Kaitlyn Christian, Sabrina Santamaria and Hunter Reese!
